I completed 1.5 years of class at UnT in Denton where i excelled in creative writing and other general studies courses. I was focusing on a career in Radio, TV and Film at the time. I later returned to Lubbock for employment and to attend TTU.

I continued my collegiate studies with a focus on Mass Communications. I studied a variety of Mass Comm courses including Mass Comm Law as well as participated as a regular Radio host on KTXT FM 88.1.
